NEW LAW IN CALIFORNIA AS OF TODAY!
Okay, so as of today, ALL homes sold MUST have a Carbon Monoxide Detector installed in them. This is just another safety feature, kind of like the smoke detectors in every bedroom.
At first I thought, "Really? Another thing for the seller to pay for?" But in reality these detectors save many lives every year. (Here is a lnk to the CDC which has facts about carbon monoxide poisoning which includes the symptoms.) And they are relatively inexpensive. Here is a link to the Walmart site that has them ranging in price from $16.54 to $39.97. Really, that's not too bad at all!
So, actually for under $20 you could save a life. Make sure your home has one for your own family as well!
