Okay, so I was reading this funny post by Alan May.  He chose to show a license plate which referrenced Pink Floyd.  So cute and I love how he shared his thoughts and feelings about that plate.

So last year, we were walking through a casino parking lot in Vegas and I saw this license plate. ( We get free rooms, but that's a story for a different blog...)  I simply HAD to take a picture of it, because it is so hillarious!  Can't you just see some little five-year old kid sticking his tongue out and saying, "NEENER?"  

It must be someone with a bit of cash to pay for that vanity plate, and someone with a great sense of humor!  My husband is like that, a big kid in a man's body... and those are the best kind!  ;-)

Okay, so I've read quite a few posts on golf today. Some of them are serious and others not so much. So I've decided to tell you how absolutely CHALLENGED I am when it comes to golf.  I've played a few times, and had a lot of fun. 

One time, about my sixth time playing we went with my sister-in-law and her husband to the little nine-hole golf course near us.  (For you golfers, there are three of these really close to La Verne.) We decided to play the entire nine-hole game.  Now, just to be honest, when I tee off, it doesn't DRIVE like it's supposed to, it goes really far in a straight line, but on the ground.  (People have tried to teach me, but so far it hasn't stuck.) Somewhere about the fifth tee off, I hit one really far (of course on the ground again) and for some reason it really tickled my fancy.  So I laughed.  Now if you knew me, you'd know that my laugh is LOUD and contagious.  So my sister-in-law turns to me and says, " SHHhhh, golf is serious business!"  Of course this makes me laugh even harder! (I mean, hey, if you can't laugh at yourself, who can you laugh at?!!?)

Okay, really, it's called the GAME of Golf. So now I quote her every time I step onto a course with my husband. It's become an inside joke between us. Besides, if golf is something you take so seriously, what about the rest of your life?  Where do you lighten up?
